Numerical simulation and test for a turbine damper

Through simulations with fluid finite element software Fluent,structural parameters for a turbine damper were obtained to meet the requirements of an arresting net recovery system of a certain unmanned aerial vehicle.Then,the turbine damper was designed and manufactured based on the simulation results.The dynamic cushioning property of the turbine damper was tested with instantaneous impact experiments.Results showed that the numerical simulation of the turbine damper is right and its cushioning capacity meets the requirements of the arresting net recovery system of a certain unmanned aerial vehicle.
