Reviewed were toxicity and its impact on the health of the most common types of anthropogenic nanoparticles: carbon nanotubes, fullerenes, metals or their oxides, quantum dots. Discussed was the cytoand genotoxicity of nanoparticles, their influence on various body systems, the main directions of preventive activities in the production and use.
