Experimental Study on Pavement Performance of Nanometer Layered Silicate Modified Asphalt

Aiming at the cause of asphalt pavement diseases,Nanometer Layered Silicate modified asphalt(NLS) is used to improve the resistance capability of asphalt pavement.Conventional indoor tests,such as penetration,ductility,softening point,RTFOT and SHRP DSR,BBR and PAV pressure aging test are conducted.Contrastive tests of pavement performance are carried out between NLS and base asphalt,SBS and PE modified asphalt,such as temperature sensibility,high-and-low temperature behavior and aging behavior.The conclusion is drawn that rosin-based bentonite NLS modified asphalt has better pavement performance,which provides the basis for engineering application.
