Treatment and therapeutic agents and vaccines

Abstract Dengue viral illness is a mosquito borne viral illness caused by a flavivirus and transmitted by the mosquito Aedes aegypti. The mainstay of management for Dengue viral illness is supportive care. Fluid replacement is administered in the form of crystalloid and colloid solutions. The therapy is titrated based on the hematocrit and clinical status of the patient. The World Health Organization has divided the therapy management based into three groups to guide therapy.
