Numerical simulation analysis of rockburst prevention by large diameter coal seam boreing water injection and fracturing

2014
In order to remove the danger of rockburst, large diameter drilling injection coal seam fracturing process was simulated numerically. The effect of single hole with different lateral pressure coefficients and multihole porous water fracturing under different modes of arrangement were also analyzed. The results show that water injection can relief pressure in a wide range and the cracks waken the stress of coal and the water in the hole of coal change the physical and mechanical properties which can prevent rock burst effectively. The crack propagation direction has a correlation with lateral pressure coefficient, which changes from vertical to horizontal direction with lateral pressure coefficients increasing. Different pressure relief with different hole arrangement mode, pressure relief range in square arrangement is 35.8% and 31.3% higher than that in single-row and three-cornered along the vertical direction. So, square arrangement mode is more adaptable to mine thick coal seam of rock burst mine. The conclusion presents important references for safety mining of rockburst mine.
