Teleconsultation and image analysis system in radiation induced thyroid cancer.

We consider the basic principles of telemedicine systems. The technical questions arising in development of telemedicine systems are discussed. The special attention is given to the Telemedicine System for Image Analysis and Consultation in Radiation Induced Thyroid Cancer (TeSIAC) being developed now by the National Center of Information Resources and Technologies of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus in collaboration with other medical institutions of Belarus.
