Commentary on a Cochrane Review of Hormone Therapy for Preventing Cardiovascular Disease in Postmenopausal Women

Abstract Findings of a Cochrane Review provide strong evidence that use of hormone therapy has little if any benefit in preventing cardiovascular disease in postmenopausal women and could increase risk for stroke and venous thromboembolic events.
