Analysis of power characteristics for preliminary grinding of reinforced vulcanizers

A procedure is proposed for power analysis of the cutting of worn pneumatic-tire casings into fragments. An example is cited for analysis of the thrust force and process power required for transverse and longitudinal cuts in the carcass-breaker-tread bands of pneumatic tires.
