A Study on Blood Flow Variation in Doppler Ultrasoundgraph of Optic Artery of Hypertension Patients

2000
Objective:The lesions of tiny and small arteries is the major pathological change of hypertension disease, and the optic-bulb vessels are the ideal position to observe directly the changes both in the tiny vessels and the dynamics of blood flow. The purpose of studying every parameter of optical artery is to find the most sensitive and the repeatedly best parameter. Methods:To study the blood flow of optical artery of 52 hypertention cases and 29 controls by using the color doppler ultrasoundgraph. Results:The blood circulation of optical artery in hypertention cases showed a lower blood flow velocity and higher resistance, the blood flow velocity at the end-diastolic period and the resistance index were the most sensitive (P0.05).Conclusion:The non-invasion study of color doppler ultrasoundgraph is of important value in estimating the extent of influence of hypertension on optical artery in the early stage. The result is in accordance with their pathological changes, and related to the development of disease duration.
