Study on Levels of Serum Immunoglobulin,IL-6,IL-8,IL-10,CRP,ICAM-1,and TNF-α in Patients with Appendicitis

2012
Objective To explore the variation of serum immunoglobulin IL-6,IL-8,IL-10,CRP,ICAM-1,and TNF-α in patients with appendicitis. Methods Eighty-two patients with appendicitis hospitalized in the People's Hospital of Rongcheng County from January 2009 to May 2011 were selected as the research objects and served as observation group.82 healthy individuals were simultaneously selected as control group. The levels of immunoglobulin,IL-6,IL-8,IL-10,CRP,ICAM-1,and TNF-α were analyzed and compared between the two groups. Results The levels of IgM(1.88±0.17) g/L,IgG(12.75±1.29) g/L,IL-6(126.42±15.43) pg/ml,IL-8(131.68±27.84) ng/ml,IL-10(59.97±4.52) pg/ml and CRP(11.08±1.29) mg/L,ICAM-1(440.57±24.65) ng/ml,TNF-α(154.37±25.6) ng/ml in observation group were all higher than those in control group, while the level of IgA(5.62±1.01) g/L was lower than that of control group, there were statistically significant differences between the two groups(all P0.05).Conclusions The change of serum immunoglobulin,IL-6,IL-8,IL-10,CRP,ICAM-1,and TNF-α of patients with appendicitis shows its rule, and it can provide the evidence for treatment and diagnosis of the disease.
