Clamping device for traction means, in particular belt tensioning means

2001
Described and illustrated - as a clamping device for traction means - a belt tensioning device having a receiving and mounting housing (1), pivotally connected to a with the receiving and mounting housing (1) connected to the roller carrier (2), with a the roller carrier (2) relative to the receiving and mounting housing (1) radially and axially overlapping bearing (3), with a between the roller carrier (2) and the receiving and mounting housing (1) provided spring for applying the clamping force, and with a damping device (5), whereby the damping device (5) has a damping bush (9) and (2) and the receiving and mounting housing (1) dampens by friction movements between the roller carrier in such a way that the attenuation in the direction of increasing tension force is greater than sloping towards resilience. DOLLAR A The belt tensioning device of the invention is design and manufacturing technology simplified compared with the known in the prior art belt tensioning means, and, indeed in that a band spring (10) is provided for applying the frictional force on the damping bush (9) and the band spring (10) with its first end (11) against rotation on the receiving and mounting housing (1) or on the roller carrier (2) and by its second end (12) rotatably on the damping bush (9) is attached.
