Prednisolone therapy for Kawasaki disease

Abstract Prednisolone therapy for acute phase Kawasaki disease had been considered to be controversial for several decades. However, recent clinical studies revealed that prednisolone therapy might improve coronary and clinical outcomes. The present paper reviews the roles of prednisolone therapy for acute phase Kawasaki disease patients.
