Cassini Solstice Mission Maneuver Experience: Year Two

2012
The Cassini Spacecraft was launched in October 1997 on a mission to observe Saturn and its moons; it entered orbit around Saturn in July 2004 for a nominal four-year Prime Mission, later augmented by two extensions: the Equinox Mission, from September 2008 through September 2010, and the Solstice Mission, from October 2010 through September 2017. This paper provides an overview of the maneuver activities from August 2011 through June 2012 which include the design of 38 Orbit Trim Maneuvers—OTM-288 through OTM-326— for attaining 14 satellite encounters: seven with Titan, six with Enceladus, and one with Dione.
