Quantitative cerebral blood flow measured with three-dimensional pseudocontinuous arterial spin-labeling MR imaging helps detect functional brain injury caused by Alzheimer disease pathology both in the prodromal and more advanced stages of the disease; its relationship to cognition indicates the clinical relevance of this functional marker.
