Clinical Value of Ultrasonography in the Diagnosis of Elderly Women with Pelvic Lesions

Objective To discuss the clinical value of ultrasonography in the diagnosis of elderly women with pelvic lesions. Methods The clinical data of 82 cases of elderly women with pelvic lesions were analyzed retrospectively. Results Of the 82 cases confirmed by surgery and pathology, there were 38 cases of endometrial hyperplasia, 5 cases of endometrial polyps, 6 cases of endometrial cancer, 19 cases of uterine myoma, 9 cases of ovary benign tumors, 5 cases of ovary malignant tumors. There were 38 cases with the thickness of endometrium 5 mm, 11 cases with space-occupying clumps or heterogenous mixed echo in the uterine cavity, 19 cases with uterine myoma, 9 cases with ovary fluid tumors, 5 cases with ovary solid /solid and fluid tumors showed by the ultrasound diagnosis preoperative. The positive predictive rate of which the pelvic lesions present to the pathological changes was 100%. Conclusion Ultrasonography has great clinical value in the diagnosis and prevention of elderly women with pelvic lesions.
