Surgical Management of Complicated Diverticulitis

The surgical treatment of acute diverticulitis and its complications are discussed. The manifestations and preoperative and operative management are presented for the complications of perforation with peritonitis, abscess formation, obstruction, and fistula formation in elderly patients.
