Determination of the Characteristic Parameters on Thermal Calculation of CDQ Waste-heat Boiler

Because of the rapidly development of economy, the energy consumption increases largely, the application and innovation of the energy-saving technology has been an important way for reducing the production cost of every enterprise. The potentiality of energy-saving and value of environmental protection on Coke Dry Quenching (CDQ) technology have already been approved extensively by the iron and steel factory and coking enterprise, being popularized in a more cost-effective manner. This paper proposes the exact understanding of three kinds of coefficients such as contamination coefficient e, heat effective coefficient ψ and usage coefficient ξ, combining with the actual flue gas composition and operation of CDQ waste-heat boiler, using heat effective coefficient ψ and contamination coefficient e to carry out the thermal calculation in CDQ boiler. It can improve the accuracy of thermal calculation by adjusting parameters which reflect the influence of boiler’s operation. Meanwhile, we analyze and summarize the reasons why the characteristic parameters have been changed, which is a certain realistic meaning to the design of the similar waste-heat boiler.
