Quantitative Corticosteroid Effect on Corneal Wound Healing

Using the tensile strength measurements as the measure of tissue repair, it was found that the effect of topical corticosteroid treatment on corneal wound healing was related to the dose and frequency of administration. Only high concentrations administered frequently significantly reduced corneal wound healing.
