Three patients with metastatic breast cancer responded to diethylstilbestrol (DES) therapy, but later they developed endometrial carcinoma. Evidence is presented to support the hypothesis that endometrial carcinoma can occur in breast cancer patients receiving diethylstilbestrol therapy. ( Arch Intern Med 138:539-541, 1978)
