Increased serum levels of fetuin B in patients with coronary artery disease

Background Recent evidence indicates a pivotal role for fetuin B, one of the cystatin superfamily of cysteine protease inhibitors, in the pathogenesis of metabolic diseases. This study investigated whether serum fetuin B levels are associated with the presence of coronary artery disease.
