Analysis on Surgical Treatment of Colorectal Cancer Complicated with Diabetes in 35 cases Patients

Objective To explore the surgical treatment measures of colorectal cancer complicated with diabetes. Methods Retrospective analysis of in 35 cases patients who treatment with Surgery from 2001~2005. Who fasting glucose value was more than 6.30mmoL/L before the operation. Results 35 cases patients with colorectal cancer complicated with diabetes patients undergoing time-selective operation,the incidence of postoperative complications was:anastomotic fistula was happened in 5 cases(14.3%), empyema interval front lumbosacral in 2 cases(5.7%), incision infection in 10 cases(28.6%) , pulmonary infection in 1 and abdominal abscess in 1 case. There was no diabetic ketoacidosis. The mean hospitalization was 25 days. There was no death in operation. Conclusion It can reach ideal surgical treatment effect by controling strict glycemic for patients during operation and selecting surgical strategy rational.
