Psychoorganic syndrome has a significant impact on quality of life of older people and their stigmatization by reducing social activity. The most difficult, especially for women, were tasks such as cooking, shopping and medication. Depression in general, and severe depression, in particular, is much more common in women with psychoorganic syndrome.
