Novel Sagittal Plane Radiographic Analysis of Guided Growth for Knee Flexion Contractures: Utilization of Blumensaat’s Line

Introduction: Anterior hemiepiphysiodesis of the distal femur guided growth procedure has advanced the treatment of fixed knee flexion deformities (FKFD). However, a consistent and reliable radiographic measurement to evaluate FKFD angular correction does not currently exist.
