Quasi-free scattering of kaons. [Plane wave impulse approximation, reaction mechanism]

The inclusive scattering of K/sup +/ mesons on /sup 12/C is calculated in the plane wave impulse approximation. The momentum distribution employed for /sup 12/C and different reaction mechanism approaches is checked by a comparison with data of a calculation of the inclusive scattering of electrons on /sup 12/C.
