Gasification of Coal Char-CO_2 in the Presence of Potash

The gasification behavior of coke-CO2 gasification with kalium-,calcium-and iron-based catalysts was examined with Setaram's TGA 92 Thermogravimetric Analyzer,and it was found that kalium-based catalyst has the best catalytic performance.Under the temperature of 900—1 050 ℃,the gasification characteristic of coal char with CO2 was investigated in a fixed bed test facility.The effects of operation temperature,alkalis content and the kind of raw coal on the reaction of coal char with CO2 were analyzed.The results show that temperature has an obvious effect on the gasification performance and that the reaction rate and the conversion rate increase as operation temperature rises.The coal char,which comprises of different fractions of raw-coal,has various reaction characteristic.The catalyst has fewer effects on gas coal.
