Offene Anwendungsstudie zu Langzeiteffekten hinsichtlich kosmetischer Akzeptanz, Verträglichkeit und Wirksamkeit eines Zinkpyrithion-haltigen Shampoos bei Patienten mit Kopfhautschuppung

131 patients (75 % suffering from psoriasis) were enrolled during in-patient conditions, 102 continued the usage of the shampoo for further 3 months after release from the clinic. The high overall satisfaction rate immediately after treatment with respect to cosmetic benefits and efficacy of the shampoo even increased during the following 3 months. No side effects were observed. The shampoo appears to be effective even for patients with severe dandruff such as conditions like psoriasis.
