Purpose of studyThe use of acetaminophen (APAP) to ease low grade pain is ubiquitous, and drug induced liver injury due to APAP toxicity is common in the United States and is often fatal. The primary mechanism of injury is hepatocyte necrosis, secondary to formation of the toxic metabolite NAPQI. In
