Hydration of olefins on zeolite catalysts
1976
Abstract 1. 1. A study was made of direct hydration of C 2 C 4 olefins on zeolite catalysts containing calcium rare-earth elements and chromium in cationic form and chromium and aluminium in the form of hydroxide in the temperature range of 150–300° and pressure range of 30–200 atm. 2. 2. It was shown that zeolites containing chromium together with rare-earth elements are highly active, alcohol yield at 200° and 60 atm reaching 461%.
