Explore Synthetic Deflection Correction Coefficient of Asphalt Pavement Based on Dynamic Parameters

2011
When analyzing the structure response of asphalt pavement in China, the application of the static parameter and indicators could not accurately reflect the mechanical properties of pavement materials, which causes serious deviation between theoretically-calculated and actual deflection. In order to reconcile the differences between the two kinds of deflection, the equivalent modulus of elasticity of sugared under nonlinear constitutive equation was calculated by the finite element program ABAQUS, and the other structure's dynamic modulus was selected to calculate the theoretical deflection of the pavement surface. According to the definition of synthetic correction coefficient of deflection, after the comparison of the deflection tests by falling weight deflectometers (FWD) and its theoretical deflection, correction value F for the test road of each structure were calculated. Analyzing past research achievements, the variables used in regression formula were selected and a new formula F of synthetic deflection correction coefficient of asphalt pavement was created and it was verified by deflection data of the other test road. It is shown that the verification effect is favorable and the F formula established by this research has a certain degree of applicability.
