Key Technologies of Long-Distance Shield Boring in Hard Rock

The running tunnel between Buji station and Baigelong station on No.5 line of Shenzhen Metro is located in hard rock and is constructed by shield machine.The authors study the technical difficulties encountered in the long-distance shield boring in hard rock in this paper.The problems of serious cutter wear and segment dislocation are solved by adopting proper cutting tools and selecting reasonable boring modes,boring parameters and reasonable simultaneous grouting parameters,as well as by strengthening cutting tool maintenance.
