Insulin and TanReQing Injection in Treating 49 Cases of Diabetes Mellitus Type Two Complicated with Pulmonary Infection

Objective: To observe clinical efficacy of insulin and TanReQing injection for diabetes mellitus type two complicated with pulmonary infection.Method: All 92 patients were randomized into 49 cases of the treatment group and 43 cases of the control group.Both groups were administered with corresponding treatment of lowering blood sugar,stopping the cough,resolving the phlegm and relieving the asthma;the treatment group were given with 5% glucose injection,250mL and TanReQing injection,20mL.Two weeks were one course of treatment for both groups.Result: Total effective rate of the treatment group was 97.96%,higher than 88.37% of the control group,the difference showed statistical meaning(P0.05),the indexes of serum sodium,sodium potassium,urea nitrogen,osmotic pressure and serum copper in the treatment group were compared with those of the control group,the difference demonstrated statistical meaning(P0.05).Conclusion: Insulin and TanReQing injection are effective in treating diabetes mellitus type two complicated with pulmonary infection.
