Bilateral eosinophilic granuloma of temporal bone

Eosinophilic granuloma is a localised painful lesion of either of skull bone, ribs or pelvis with a good prognosis. Calvarial swellings have an affinity to temporal bone. Recently eosinophilic granuloma has been grouped along wiht Letterer Siwe disease and Hand Schuller Christian disease under a common heading called Histiocytosis-X.
