Predictive value of heart rate variability and QT dispersion in development of cardiovascular events in patients after percutaneous coronary intervention

2015
Objective:To investigate the value of heart rate variability(HRV)and QT dispersion(QTd)in predicting major adverse cardiovascular events in patients after percutaneous coronary intervention.Method:The 80 cases of patients after PCI were divided into MACE group and non-MACE group according to the cardiovascular events recorded in 1year after PCI.HRV and QTd were measured 24 hours before and 1week after PCI.Result:SDNN,SDANN,rMSSD and QTd were significant difference between the two groups(P0.05).Intervention shortened QTd apparently(P0.05)while it did not improved HRV(P0.05).Conclusion:HRV and QTd may be useful predictors for major cardiovascular events in patients after PCI.
