NUMERICAL MODELLING OF ELECTRODE PLASMA GENERATION

: A numerical scheme for a multi-species, non-equilibrium reacting, viscous gas flow is presented here. The code has been used for a simplified model of the plasma flow under the electrical arcing condition. Initially the gas is pure molecular Nitrogen N2 and the plasma is initiated by electron emission from the cathode wall.
