Notice of Retraction VOCs Removal Using Adsorption-Enhanced Non-Thermal Plasma Technology

2011
Non-thermal plasma (NTP) technology generated by dielectric barrier discharge with adsorption-enhanced γ-Al 2 O 3 was used to decompose volatile organic compounds (VOCs). The experimental results show the adsorption-enhanced NTP technology resulted in higher toluene removal and energy efficiencies and a better inhibition for ozone formation in the gas exhaust. The adsorption kinetics was studied and the removal amount of toluene was 25% or so through adsorption of γ-Al 2 O 3 .
