TESTICULAR CHORIONEPITHELIOMA WITH GYNECO-MASTIA AND COMPLETE PREGNANCY REACTIONS

This case is made a matter of record for the reason that it is the second reported case in which the pituitary gland in a male shows the characteristic biologic and histologic changes identical with those found in the pituitary of pregnant women. W. E., a white man, aged 22, a student, was perfectly well until two and one-half months before entering St. Francis Hospital, Pittsburgh, or until four months before his death. The onset was about two months after a large shepherd dog playfully pawed him, causing some pain in the left side of the scrotum. The day following this there was some swelling in the scrotum and he consulted a physician concerning it.
