Preparation of Implant Site in the Adult Patient through Aligners

Aim: This work has the objective to show how the technological development can allow an effective cooperation among different experts in the adult treatment. The virtual rendering allows the definition of correct spaces for the development and the creation of the implant site, rise the new cooperative opportunities. Materials and methods: Some patients who required the replacment of dental elements lost have been selected. The planning identified the need of an orthodontic therapy, which was refused by the patient. The proposal to use an invisible procedure has allowed us to reach a suitable prosthesic situation. Results: From our experience it turned out that the use the orthodontics supported by a virtual set-up is very usefoul to allow the patient to understand the importance of the treatment to create the ideal circumstances for the implantologist, and to facilitate the following prosthetic replacment. Conclusion: Currently technology allows us to achive some predictable performances. This has crested new opportunity for odontologist studies. The multi-disciplinary aspect of the treatment has reached an impressive development in case of adults patients. Today the new technologies and the development of the specialtiees allow to get excellent results in most of the cases. By streghtening these opportunities the patient will be allowed to get condition which facilitate the correct maintenance of his/her oral hygiene.
