Process Analysis of Secondary Vapor Recompression Evaporation and Its Engineering Application

A model of fresh vapor consumption was proposed on the process analysis of single- effect evaporation, thermal vapor recompression( TVR) evaporation and mechanical vapor recompression( MVR)evaporation. Taking the evaporation and concentration of 5 4 0 0 kg / h sodium hydroxide solution as an engineering example,the energy consumption comparative analysis on single- effect evaporation,TVR evaporation and MVR evaporation is carried out. The results showed that comparing with the energy consumption of single- effect evaporation,the energy consumptions of TVR evaporation and MVR evaporation were only 7 8 % and 2 3. 8 % of single- effect evaporation.
