Effect of Slow/Controlled Release N Fertilizer on Yield and N Fertilizer Efficiency of Summer Maize in Later Harvest Time

2011
Field experiment was carried out to study the effect of slow/controlled release N fertilizer(SRNF) on yield and N accumulation and N fertilizer utilization efficiency of summer maize in later harvest time. The results showed that compared with accustomed nitrogen application,SRNF could respectively increase grain yield by 2.90% and 4.88%,protein yield by 7.07% and 4.41%,N accumulation by 5.51% and 4.18%,apparent N recovery by 3.78% and 2.95%,N agronomic efficiency by 0.97 and 1.69 kg·kg-1 in accustomed harvest time and later harvest time.Compared with accustomed harvest, later harvest improved grain yield 2.12%-6.42%,protein yield 1.11%-7.68%,N accumulation 1.10%-3.18% and N agronomic efficiency 0.82-1.55 kg·kg-1.Applying SRNF was beneficial to the supply of soil N and absorption of plant N,fertilizer single basal application in seeding stage of summer maize, increased yield and N fertilizer efficiency, realized the aim of simplify, high yield and high efficiency fertilization.
