Study on high yield cultivation technique of super rice cultivar Yangjing 4038

With the early-ripe japonica(Oryza sativa L) variety Yangjing 4038,effects of sowing and planting periods,transplanting density,nitrogen levels and nitrogen fertilizer management on yield and yield components were studied.The results showed that: sowing and planting periods from April 25 to June 4,yield of Yangjing 4038 changed from 6.14-10.54 t·hm-2.Transplanting density from 15.0 to 45.0×104 hills per hectare yield changed from 7.82-10.39 t·hm-2.Nitrogen levels from 0-450.0 kg·hm-2,yield changed from 6.31-10.05 t·hm-2.The optimum nitrogen level was 300.0 kg·hm-2 and yield was also affected by nitrogen management.High yield cultivation technique of super rice cultivar Yangjing 4038 was: sowing and planting periods of the region along the Yangtze River of Jiangsu province was the days from May 5 to May 15,while that of south area was May 10-May 20;planting density was from 30.0 to 37.5×104 hills per hectare,tiller-seeding numbe 120.0×104 per hectare,Total nitrogen was 300.0 kg·hm-2,the ratio of basal,tilling,heading nitrogen was about 6∶3∶1 or 7∶2∶1.
