Cardiovascular mortality in industrial and developing countries.

The authors analyze trends in cardiovascular mortality in developed and developing countries between 1973 and 1976. Factors contributing to higher mortality in developing countries are examined. The relationship between the increase in heart disease mortality and the age structure of the population life style and mortality differences for all other causes is studied (SUMMARY IN ENG) (ANNOTATION)
