Vascular plaque detection with reduced textural feature set from optical coherence tomography images

We present an algorithm to automatically detect and characterize vascular plaque with a reduced set of 3 textural features from optical coherence tomography (OCT) images. We verified our results using histology and photographic images of vascular tissues.
