Provided is a melamino-formaldehyde resin adhesive and a preparation process thereof with an internally forming method. According to the preparation process, the pH value of a formaldehyde solution is adjusted into 8-9.5 with alkali liquor, melamine is added, the mole ratio of formaldehyde to melamine in the formaldehyde solution is 2 to 3, mixing is conducted until the temperature is raised to 40 to 60 DEG C, and the temperature is kept for 20 to 40 minutes; a benzoguanamine and formaldehyde solution is added, the mole ratio of formaldehyde to benzoguanamine is 2 to 3, the pH value is adjusted with alkali liquor, the mole ratio of benzoguanamine to melamine is (1-3) to 9, the temperature is raised to 80 to 90 DEG C, the temperature is kept constant, the pH value of the solution is adjusted into the range from 8 to 9.5 with alkali liquor, and the reaction stops when the water dilution of 1-2 is reached. In the preparation process, benzoguanamine is introduced to polymer; the synthetic polymerized resin has excellent toughness, and good hardness and heat stability, and can be widely used in the fields of impregnated paper overlays, fire-proof plates and the like.
