Nefropatía por agente catártico basado en fosfato de sodio en paciente renal trasplantado. Reporte de un caso

2016
Sodium phosphate nephropathy is a form of renal injury that occurs following the use of laxatives containing sodium phosphate, which can present acutely or chronically after the administration of these drugs used in colonic preparation for colonoscopy. The acute form can resolve with adequate treatment, but the chronic form may cause irreversible kidney damage. The case we report is about a kidney transplantantion patient in whom sodium phosphate was used for colonoscopy preparation debuting with acute kidney injury.
