Reliability and Validity of Questionnaire Type Survey on the Control and Prevention Knowledge of Tuberculosis in the Middle and Primary Schools in Guangzhou

Objective To evaluate the reliability and validity of Delphi method-based questionnaire type survey on the control and prevention knowledge of tuberculosis in middle and primary schools in Guangzhou.Methods The questionnaire survey was conducted in 135 subjects,including students of the middle and primary schools and their parents.And the questionnaire survey was then performed again randomly in 65 out of these 135 subjects 10 days later.The internal consistency,test-retest reliability and construct validity were calculated.Results The values of Cronbach's α coefficient in each part of the questionnaire were in the range of 0.7870 to 0.8420.The values of correlation coefficient of the 13 selected indicators were greater than 0.7,and their P values were all less than 0.01.Four public factors,obtained by analyzing the 13 indicators,could explain 63.83% of the whole variance.The factor loadings of the 13 indicators were ranged from 0.492 to 0.866.All of these values were greater than the basic requirement 0.4.Conclusion The designed questionnaire survey for TB health education in the middle and primary schoolwas reliability.
