Resonances, and mechanisms of Theta-production

After explaining the necessity for exotic hadrons, we discuss mechanisms which could account for the production of the exotic {theta}-baryon. A possible important role of resonances (producing the {theta} in real or virtual decays) is advanced and emphasized for selected processes. Promising experimental investigations of such resonances, and the {theta} itself, are suggested. We also briefly discuss recent negative results regarding the {theta}-baryon.
