Clinical value of urinary mAlb detection in the diagnosis of early diabetic nephropathy

2009
Objective: To explore the clinical value of urinary mAlb detection in the diagnosis of early diabetic nephropathy. Methods: The urinary mAlb of 150 patients with diabetes mellitus and 74 healthy people was detected by nephelometry. The data were analyzed by t test for statistical treatment. Results: Urinary mAlb content of diabetic group showed significant difference compared with that of the control group (P0.01). In diabetic patients, urine mAlb content of positive conventional urine protein-positive group showed significant difference compared with conventional urine protein-negative group (P0.01). Conclusion: mAlb can be used as one of the indicators for diagnosing diabetic nephropathy and renal injury.
