Clinical observation on bicyclol in the treatment of chronic hepatitis C

Objective To discuss the clinical observation on bicyclol in the treatment of chronic hepatitis C.Methods 40 cases with chronic hepatitis C were randomly divided into treatment group(20 cases)and control group(20 cases).treatment group was given bicyclol 25 mg each times,3 times per day;Control group was given ordinary drug for protecting the liver,such as vitamins,the course was 6 months.Results At the end of the first、third month in treatment group,the ratio of recovering to normal condition in serum ALT was higher than that of control group(P 0.05).The reducing of log value of serum HCV-RNA was obvious difference between two groups after treatment(P 0.05).Conclusion Bicyclol can obviously reduce the serum enzyme of chronic hepatitis C,and it maybe assist to inhibit multiplication of HCV in body.
