Aerodynamic Characteristics Analysis for Radial Inflow Turbine with Pivoting-stator

Numerical simulation for single-stage radial turbine under different opening and conditions in three-dimension was carried out to analysis the aerodynamic characteristics.The results showed the influence of pivoting-stator on the turbine's aerodynamic performance was combined effect of cascade convergence,attack angle and out-flow angle.Comprehensive consideration of stator loss and impeller loss,an adjustment program was proposed with different velocity ratio.
