Neutrinos are produced in large amounts by the nuclear reactions which take place in the interior of the Sun. Presently five dedicated experiments show a clear deficit of these neutrinos on Earth. Oscillations from one neutrino flavor to another are the most likely explanation of this deficit, implying that neutrinos have a mass.
